SPECIAL FLAT-FEE RATE FOR A MCHENRY COUNTY DIVORCE THAT DOES NOT INVOLVE MINOR CHILDREN. (If you have minor children, see below)
If you and your spouse can agree to the terms of your divorce, we will assist you with all matters for a fixed rate of $1,500.00 if:
❏ Both parties sign a stipulation regarding irreconcilable differences and agree to waive the two year waiting requirement
❏ You have no minor children
❏ Both parties waive their right to the other spouse’s pension or 401(k), if any.
❏ Both parties agree to all material terms of the divorce, including maintenance and property division.
The representation will include the following services:
1) Comprehensive client intake
2) Review of relevant documents and records
3) Preparing the Petition for Dissolution and the Marital Settlement Agreement
4) Preparing the Order of Dissolution of Marriage
5) Appearing in court for the “prove-up” hearing
Client is responsible for any court fees, including the filing fee and the court reporter fee.

❏ Both parties agree on the terms of custody and visitation
❏ The non-custodial spouse agrees to pay child support in accordance with the statutory guidelines
❏ Each spouse waives their right to the other spouse’s pension or 401(k), if any.
❏ Both parties agree to all other material terms of the divorce, including maintenance and property division.
The representation will include the following services:
1) Comprehensive client intake
2) Review of relevant documents and records
3) Preparing the Petition for Dissolution and the Marital Settlement Agreement
4) Calculating child support
5) Preparing the Joint Parenting Agreement
6) Preparing the Order of Dissolution of Marriage
7) Appearing in court for the “prove-up” hearing
