If you file for Bankruptcy, you will be required to attend a Section 341 meeting (aka "Meeting of the Creditors"). When a Bankruptcy case is filed, it is assigned to a standing trustee. The trustee performs several functions in a bankruptcy case.
He is required, among other things, to conduct an interview with the debtor for the purpose of verifying the accuracy of the information that is provided in the case filing. These meetings are currently conducted by videoconference (i.e., "ZOOM"). At the hearing, the trustee swears-in the debtor and asks a set of questions regarding the statements of assets, income, expenses, and assets.
