Case Requirements in a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Case
In order to obtain a discharge in a Chapter 7 bankruptcy case, all applicable requirements must be satisfied. These requirements include:
- filing with the court all required forms
- completion of the court-approved credit counseling and debtor education course
- payment of the court filing fee
- attendance of the section 341 meeting (a.k.a. "Meeting of the Creditors")
